Firm History


In 1976, Pam Mundo established Mundo and Associates, a successful consulting business specializing in city planning, economic development and project development. Her consulting services extended to 1987 and included major zoning elements, successful completion of major downtown revitalization projects, community development projects, and a seven-community economic development strategic plan. The firm practiced primarily in the Northeastern States.


Pam re-activated Mundo and Associates, in Texas, in 2003, as an economic development consulting firm serving municipalities, investors, and retail and manufacturing interests, providing special studies and serving as the daily advisor to municipalities and private sector clients on matters related to economic development and land development. From 1987 to 2003 she had been employed as Director of Economic Development for cities in Texas.


The firm was issued a State of Texas Certificate of Incorporation as Mundo and Associates, Inc. in 2004, with Pam Mundo as owner and President. Firm clients include several Towns and Cities in Texas, as well as representing private sector developers before Towns and Cities.


In 2007, Mundo and Associates, Inc. became certified as a Texas Historically Underutilized Business - TX HUB and as a Women’s Business Enterprise – WBE.


In 2008, Jason Mundo and Joe Mundo, both registered professional civil engineers, joined the firm.


In 2008, Mundo and Associates, Inc. received the Texas Board of Professional Engineers Certificate of Registration fulfilling the requirements to offer and perform engineering services in the state of Texas.
